SCHOLARSHIPS

Students receiving veterans’ educational benefits are typically also eligible for all scholarships awarded by Texas A&M University, including those awarded by Scholarships & Financial Aid, Academic Departments and Colleges, the Texas A&M Foundation, and more.

In addition, military affiliated students are also eligible for Military Scholarships awarded through the university, as well as scholarships awarded to military affiliated students through outside entities. Please see the Active Duty/Veterans Scholarships or Veteran Dependents/Spouses Scholarships pages for more information on available scholarships.

Regardless of the scholarship type, students must apply for scholarships in order to be awarded them. Students are not awarded scholarships based only on their attendance at Texas A&M or their use of veterans’ educational benefits.

In order to provide the most opportunity to the greatest number of students, Texas A&M does not stack veteran/spouse/dependent scholarships. If you qualify for more than one military-affiliated scholarship you will receive the highest dollar-value scholarship only.
